The online petition must be doing some sort of good these days since HTC first denied then confirmed and followed with a promise to do right for HTC device owners with MSM7200 and MSM7500 chipsets. Clearly the most publicized device to suffer from poor video performance due to missing video drivers is the TyTN II (also known as the HTC Kaiser or At&t Tilt), but the TyTN II is not the only device to benefit from this news. Over the past few months the guys over at xda-developers and HTCClassAction have been working on a fix (drivers) and today they have finally delivered on their mission.
There is a Direct 3D test program over at the HTCClassAction website which you can run on your HTC TyTN II, but out of the box the test will fail. If you install the video driver also available on their website the test program completes, clearly demonstrating the capability of the device and confirmation that HTC owes an official driver.

Although this cab file is only for the HTC TyTN II, MSM7200 and MSM7500 devices share this problem and without an official driver from HTC, video performance will continue to suffer. With HTC leading the Windows Mobile Smartphone market and Qualcomm providing their chipsets for MSM7200 and MSM7500 devices like the Sprint Mogul, Sprint Touch, Verizon VX6800, Verizon Touch and At&t Tilt, the problem is only mounting with force.
