Telefónica O2 Germany continued to stay on the growth track in the first quarter of 2009 and increased its profitability based on sustained customer growth. The operating result (OIBDA) in the months of January to March amounted to € 202 million – an increase of 24 percent compared with the same quarter of last year. Services revenues in mobile telecommunications were slightly raised again (+0.6 percent).
