Google updates Local Search for Mobile

Google Wave is taking the tech headlines by storm but the real news in the mobile community is the update for Google’s Local Search for Mobile.  Now when you use Local Search for Mobile it will be integrated with Google Maps on your PC.  If you ’star’ a location on your desktop computer while logged into your Google Account that location will be visible on your cell phone when using Local Search.  To try out the new Local Search simply direct your mobile phone to www.google.com/m/local (service is available in US and China only)
