The contest is being called the C905 Photographic Competition and takes place on Flickr until December 5th when the winners are announced. Now the importation information, how to enter the competition:
- Sign up for a free Flickr account or login using your existing Yahoo account if you have one.
- Join the ‘Sony Ericsson C905 Photographic Competition’ Flickr group
- Upload a portrait photo, you have shot and that hasn’t been previously uploaded to Flickr, to your account, tagging it with ‘sony ericsson, c905, photo competition’
- Go to the page of the photo(s) you want to submit to the competition.
- Click the “Send to Group” button between the photo title and the photo.
- Choose the ‘Sony Ericsson C905 Photographic Competition’ Flickr group
The individuals who created the 5 pics with the most ‘Favs’ go through to the final round where they are provided with a C905 (8.1 megapixel) camera-phone to keep. They will be challenged to a take a particular picture (revealed the night before) every day for a week. Again the individual who gets the most combined ‘Favs’ for their series of seven pictures wins!
Timeline:
- 10th November – Competition begins
- 5th December – Finalists announced and Sony Ericsson C905 handsets sent out.
- 5th-12th December – Photo’s taken on Sony Ericsson C905 uploaded to group and voting starts.
- 15th-19th December – Voting continues.
- 22nd December – Winner announced.
